Colma: The Musical opens this weekend!
I'm out of town on vacation and on a really crappy wireless connection, but I wanted to pass on a special message from Rich Wong, director of the wonderful musical comedy Colma: The Musical:
"Hey, so this is it. Colma: The Musical comes out this Friday at The Embarcadero Cinema Center! Located at One Embarcadero Center, Promenade Level
You can buy tickets at:

I hope any of you who can go will make it out and help support the film on this very critical weekend. It sucks to say the last two years of my life boils down to this weekend's ticket sales, but it kinda does. Films like Colma are rare to even get to the screen, and that's because the industry doesn't believe there is an audience for them. We were so lucky to have Roadside Attractions take the leap and the risk to release this film, and I am so grateful and thankful for that. But now it's our turn. We need to show the film industry that there is a need for films like this and that people will go see them! Please come out and help us tell as many friends/family/neighbors/strangers as you can! If you know people in SF, give them the heads up!

HP, Jake, LA, Paul, and I will all be out there on Friday and Saturday night for the 7:30pm and 10:00pm shows for Q&A's and also just mulling around saying "Hi" and "Thank You" to everyone we can. Please come and hang out with us. We'll likely be at some of the other shows too. This is a special weekend for us, so I hope that you can come be a part of it!
AND, thanks to CAAM, on Friday night, the party continues at Frisson ( www.frissonsf.com) where we will celebrate the film and just being together again! It promises to be a lot of fun!
Thanks again for all your support and I hope to see you soon!"
Folks, I personally recommend this film highly and I guarantee you'll walk out with a smile on your face. And I'm happy to hear the Colma crew will be there in person, too. They're great fun. Let's show support for an excellent independent film!
